Our CEO allies his technical knowledge as a veterinarian trained in Portugal (FMV Lisboa) and the USA (PhD from Texas A&M) and a professor of veterinarian medicine, with his extensive experience as a consultant in the agrobusiness, to lead our strategy. He is proficient in developing and implementing large, innovative international agrifood projects. His passion for driving positive change has earned him recognition as a leader and innovator in his field.

Catarina leads our projects promoting animal welfare, as well as our research programme. Her professional background on veterinary medicine (FMV ULisboa) and a vast professional experience in Portugal, the UK, and the US has equipped her with a unique global perspective, enabling her to develop innovative solutions that contribute to the welfare and well-being of animals, promoting public health and fostering a more compassionate and sustainable society.

Our Chief of Staff brings a unique blend of international policy expertise and diplomatic acumen to our team. She is committed to drive meaningful and lasting change, fostering a culture of sustainability, responsibility and transparency. She is dedicated to integrating ESG principles throughout our organization and all our projects, ensuring that our actions have a positive impact on our people, our communities, and our world.

José brings over a decade of valuable experience in the agri-food sector an experienced professional with a diverse background in Veterinary Medicine, Management, and Marketing. With a strong background in team leadership and project development, he has successfully spearheaded innovative sustainability and circular initiatives with leading companies in Portugal.

Spearheading our new international ventures, Filipe is dedicated to driving the growth and expansion of our global footprint. With a wealth of experience in international business development, particularly in Latin America, he has established a strong network of partnerships and is committed to identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities for our partners and clients.

Carolina is a veterinarian (FMV ULisboa) with a strong background in animal welfare and regenerative agriculture and certification as a sanitary inspector by DGAV. With experience in the agro and livestock sectors, she is dedicated to empowering farmers to adopt sustainable and regenerative farming practices, providing actionable guidance and support to optimize their operations while promoting environmental stewardship.

Francisco is our agronomic engineer focusing on carbon and sustainability projects. With a degree in Agronomic Engineering from Instituto Superior de Agronomia, he has developed a deep understanding of the wine and olive oil industries, with a focus on driving positive impact and innovation on the sectors. He is currently involved in the development of one of the largest projects on the carbon market, showcasing his ability to tackle complex challenges and deliver results.

With a strong training in Veterinary Medicine, advanced certifications in Animal Welfare, and as an Independent Reviewer, Training and Audit (IRTA) Welfare auditor for dairy and beef cattle, Francisca brings a distinctive and valuable expertise to our team. She is committed to ensuring the highest standards of care and wellbeing for animals, promoting best practices that prioritize animal welfare and sustainability.

Filipa is a dedicated professional with experience in the agro industry. She is trained in agronomy, with a passion for viticulture and wine making. Her hands-on experience and technical knowledge help her to enthusiastically implement projects in the field, developing innovative techniques and methodologies that improve the sustainability of the business and the sector.

Beatriz is a Veterinarian specializing in Animal Welfare. Graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Lisbon, she is also a Welfare Quality Auditor for dairy cattle. Her passion for promoting cattle welfare has led her to participate in international projects such as Welfaruminant (EU) and Dairy Cattle Welfare Rotation at the (University of Guelph). Beatriz cultivates great relationships with producers to promote best welfare practices.

As one of our founders, Mano is the top dog in CONCERTA, responsible for boosting our team’s morale and drive. It is common to find him laying around, deep in thought about the direction of the company, or sniffing solutions for our clients. His approach to business drives us every day: sniff out opportunities, chase down challenges, and fetch results.
